Our Story
Overhead Door Options is a garage door company that was established by Brad Leighton, a resident of Meredith, in September 2005. Brad and his wife, Lynn, had previously worked together until they sold their business in 2003. When the opportunity to start a new garage door business presented itself, Brad was intrigued and confident that they could make it work.
Fortunately, the employees were willing to join the new team and contribute their combined experience of 30 years. This experience has been key to the company's success.
In 2010, the company expanded by adding a sales associate, who happened to be Brad's son, Nick Leighton, making it a true family affair. In 2015, Nick purchased half of the business and worked alongside his wife, who joined the team in 2011. Eventually, Nick bought the other half of the business, making him and his wife the full owners of Overhead Door Options in 2023. Over the years, the company has continued to operate with a few of the original door experts and has also added key members to its team.
